Well, it was a really good stay for 3 nights. I booked a double room with an electric kettle, central heating and a coffeemaker. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I greatly enjoyed a clean bathroom. The location was marvellous and lovely - near to the delicious seafood restaurants, a quiet suburb of Dieppe, and the sea and village. I ate at the attached restaurant near the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in a quiet suburb near Dieppe. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful atmosphere with lovely views of the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the basic amenities provided in the rooms. Speaking of the rooms, I was fortunate enough to have one with a great view of the sea and the village of Puys, which added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Additionally, the breakfast served each morning was delicious and fresh, setting me up for a great start to the day.
All was well with my stay, no improvement needed.

Located on top of a hill overlooking a gorgeous bay, this hotel is in a perfect spot. You can easily take a trip from the close Dieppe ferry port, or choose from the delicious seafood restaurants near the beach. The rooms come with balconies for a spectacular view of the sea, with the natural style of the decor being an added advantage. The staff is welcoming and helpful, giving complimentary drinks for a friendly welcome.
The services, however, left much to be desired.

What a gem of a hotel! The view from my room was breathtaking; I could see the sea and the charming village at a glance. The breakfast and dinner were superb, with fresh seafood prepared by the chef, which made my taste buds happy. The hotel's location is perfect; I could walk to the sea, and there was ample parking available.
The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the electric radiator in the room was unpredictable and difficult to adjust. Though the room was good, it could have been priced slightly better.

A lovely place for a restful break
I quickly felt at home here after a friendly welcome. The hotel stood out as they invited me to help myself to tea or coffee or a glass of wine, which was a nice touch. Room 1, with its breathtaking sea view from the imposing cliff top location, was simply beautiful. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional foie gras, made in-house, along with the superb fish and cheese board served during dinner. The buffet breakfast was also lovely and plentiful. The owners and their delightful staff went out of their way to ensure I was well taken care of. All in all, a great value for my money. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the steep and narrow staircase leading to the annexe room and a sliding single bed mattress, the overall experience at Auberge Du Vieux Puits was fantastic. A generally pleasant stay with memorable food. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a nice Easter holiday, but unfortunately our hotel stay was not as expected. However, we enjoyed the included breakfast, which had a good variety of options. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. Lastly, we liked that the staff was friendly and welcoming.
The room we had was quite basic and lacked some amenities that we expected, such as a wardrobe. , the noise level was quite high, making it difficult to get a good night's rest.

The hotel is located by the sea on top of a hill overlooking a bay. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and equipped with modern bathrooms. Breakfast features fresh bakery and quality food.
Nothing not too like.
